I must be getting old!

Postby Grayskies on Tue May 15, 2018 1:59 pm

I find myself really liking the look of older revolvers, they just seem to have style compared to this current crop of semi-autos. Guns like the s&w 29, colt detective special, colt python, older single action cowboy and civil war revolvers. I guess these are what I saw on tv, movies and real life. I may switch my carry to a revolver.

I think I will have to do some shopping. :)

I'd question the taste of anyone who didn't like them...

EDC S&W 642
Also a Ruger Security Six in .357 makes it out of the safe regularly and used to be my camping gun and is still my sidearm for deer season up north where the wolves are plenty.

There is something about the lines and the simplicity of function...........
Deo Adjuvante Non Timendum - (with the help of God there is nothing to be afraid of)
Spectamur Agendo - (We are proven by our actions)
Non Ducor, Duco - (I am not led, I lead)

In my case it's just being a blues fanatic. If it's a nice blue job it looks beautiful revolver or other.
