Does anyone know of a decent pocket holster for a Ruger LCP II with the ArmaLaser TR12 laser sight?

I'd prefer something out of Kydex, with a good snap retention, but the only one I've been able to find was the CrossBreed Cargo Pocket Rocket - and that's unusable and dangerous.

(I won't speak to any of their other holsters, I've not used them. And the build quality of the Cargo Pocket Rocket was excellent, so I expect their well-designed holsters would be quite decent. But the Pocket Rockets clamp the pistol to a stiff board, intended to hide the shape of the pistol, with zero space for inserting your fingers between the grip of the pistol and the board. You cannot get a grip on the pistol without removing the entire holster from your pocket and using two hands. And with the Ruger LCP2, at least, if you try to force your fingers between the board and the grip, it puts pressure on the magazine release, ejecting the mag.)

In any case, I tried the CrossBreed Cargo Pocket Rocket, and found it unsuitable.

And the only other LCP II + laser holsters I've found were soft fabric. I've ordered one of them, as well, on the odd chance. But the fabric holsters I've tried in the past had lousy retention, so I'm not expecting a lot.

Does anyone know of a decent kydex holster for Ruger LCP II + laser?

CrossBreed makes a Pocket Rocket and a Cargo Pocket Rocket. Both have models that fit the Ruger LCP II. Only the latter supports the LCP II w/laser.

The CrossBreed Pocket Rocket, so you can see what I'm talking about. With the LCP II, the mag release is just under the edge of the kydex, and trying to insert your fingers between the board and the pistol grip puts enough pressure on the button to drop the mag.

Not what you asked for but I have been very happy with the Desantes nemesis line for both lc9 and original lc9. I see they make it for the lcp II with laser. Might be worth a look.

The only fabric holsters I've used were the cheap Uncle Mike's, which I wasn't impressed with.

A well made fabric holster might work.

I've ordered one from Sticky Holsters.

If that turns into yet another contribution to my holster drawer collection, I'll give deSanti a try.

Look up Side Guard holsters.

Srigs has been a member here for just shy of forever.

He has a genuine talent for coming up with comfortable and durable leather holsters.

I don't know how much he does custom work these days but it wouldn't hurt to contact him and ask.

Another something to look into, if the holster I have on order doesn't work.

They are much stiffer than unlce mikes.

I'd already ordered a Sticky Holster.

But I'm wondering if any fabric holster would have the same problems.

For what it's worth I use the DeSantis Super Fly for my Khar CW380.

The Sticky Holster I had ordered was not delivered.

Or, rather, USPS delivered it to the wrong address and was not able to recover it.

I've filed a complaint with Amazon Fulfillment, and received a refund.

I did find a holster manufacturer who claims to make a kydex pocket holster for the Ruger LCP2 w/TR12 laser. I'll post a review when it arrives.

Ok, I finally have a holster.

What I had been using with my LCP2, was Tread Softly Concealment's Micro Pocket Holster, and I really liked it.

It completely covered the trigger, locked firmly in place, and held the pistol in place in my pocket in way that was easy to get a grip on.



But it didn't fit my pistol with the ArmaLaser TR12 attached.

It took me a while, but I think I finally found one that will work.

PJ Holsters' Pocket Holster.



It doesn't lock in as firmly as Tread Softly Concealment's, but it will hold the weight of the pistol against a mild shake.

And it fits with the laser.

One nice feature - the outside is shaped to hide the shape of the pistol.

One feature I really like is the way the left side of the holster curls or at the top, right where your thumb sits when you're grabbing the grip to do a draw.

This makes it easy to draw the pistol from your pocket while leaving the holster behind.

Idk if boraii holsters makes one for that laser... I know they make on for the CT laser.
