If you haven't watched the trigger operation closely; as the trigger is pulled back, there is a ramp on the frame that forces the trigger finger down off the trigger allowing the trigger to return forward allowing the firing pin to fire the round.

There is no sear, the finger sliding off the trigger is the "sear".

Kind up what I was thinking... a good example of a gun you could make in your garage...
