I will never, ever, buy another Taurus.

Most guys I know who haven’t had issues with these don’t shoot them at all. The others have all had to go back to the factory for repair.

Glad to hear if someone has one, that they shoot full house loads out of regularly, that gives them zero issues.

That would be a first.


Never had one of these. Do have a circa 1996ish .357 that is a solid workhorse with more rounds through it than I can count. Still locks up great. A new model .22mag that has been solid but obviously not a ton of ompf there and a judge that I have not sent enough rounds through to know.

To be more specific maybe 750 to 1000 through the 44 mag with thousands through the rimfires. My goto for 44 is my Desert Eagle unless weight is an issue.
