What's it worth?

Postby LarryP on Tue Oct 06, 2020 9:54 pm

I'm not a real gun guy-- I bought a new Barretta 92f 9mm back in the 90's. I don't think more than 10 clips have been shot thru it. It looks like brand new. Thinking of selling it. What would be a fair price to ask? $400??

Advanced search on Gunbroker for completed says your considerably low for your condition. At $400 I'd even buy it ;-)

Auctions will likely get you more but I'd imagine on armslist it would bring in $500+. Actions a lil more.
I guess there are supposedly people paying $900 for a stock g19...but I've also come across some great deals in the last month, so it's hard to say it's only panic buyers out there.

I sold a gen3 G19 last week for $800.

People are getting stupid and/or desperate.

It turns out that what you have is less important than what you do with it.

How fast do you want to sell it? On here, hang $500 on it and it'd be gone over the weekend, I think. Gunbroker will add fees, transfers, and a gun shop might give you half of blue book, so they can make some money, so maybe $350.

I'd try six hundred, but you might get more. As has been said, good pistols are getting scarce and expensive. If you have a box of nines to add, you might get $40 for a box of 50.
