Just ran into this old thread.

I can attest that Pete Cheolis (aka MindSight88, I suppose) is actually a firearm instructor, I recently took a PTC class from him and expect the sheriff to acknowledge the certificate.
His wife Libby, who is a professional educator but, according to her own account, relatively new to guns, helps him run it.
If he is lacking anything as an instructor, I really have no way of knowing; but I consider taking more classes from him in the future.
His background in EMS looks particularly interesting to learn from.

Now, I am a gun newb, despite lurking on the forum for nine years, and don't poses any credentials. If I was really curious to research further (I don't,) I would ask at the Modern Sportsman in Burnsville, where the personnel appears to be well acquainted with Pete.

We can get a little rough on folks around here at times. Comes with the territory of always being under fire from the left, the anti gun movement, etc.

I think the main issue is that the OP posts weird stuff, then never returns to answer the follow-up questions that naturally arise.
