Some of this is going down range tomorrow.

Since this is the Handgun section, are you planning to shoot it out of a handgun? If you do, you may be doing good to get 900 FPS since most .22 handguns push out the .22 LR at around 800 FPS. Advertised velocity for .22 is normally the velocity obtained in a rifle.

It shot well out of 5.5" Buck Mark.

A little bit more recoil. Steel plates fell a bit faster. Didn't have any paper to shoot so I don't know how the groupings are.

The velocitor carries a lot of energy (for a 22) downrange. The SuperMax is faster, a bit lighter, and delivers more energy up to medium (for a 22) ranges. The Velocitor delivers more terminal energy past 75-100 yds. It is a good hunting round, though. That 40gr really smacks into whatever it hits and it doesn't expand violently like a stinger, its more of a classic mushroom.
