We really don't rough it anymore with a regular farm house heated all winter and indoor plumbing, although there is a really nice outhouse that most of us prefer to use, once in a while we will put a heater in it. My son Mike being a ex-carpenter and my nephew who is also a carpenter, our deer stands are fully enclosed with windows, doors and heaters. I guess the walk out in the morning is rough. We have 400 acres for about 10 guys.

Hog hunting in the south is like spending an evening with the boys from the Ozarks. Ya had to be there.

I don't rough it, but I don't have it super luxurious either. I hunt my family's property where we have a log cabin. We have electricity and plumbing but the cabin isn't insulated and we heat it with a wood stove. We dont have tv or any luxury items like that. Pretty much entertain ourselves at night by playing poker. The wood stove keeps us warm and we have beds so I can't complain.

I guess we don't rough it to much with a 2 bedroom ranch cabin, plumbing, hot water showers, electric heat, wood heat, TV/VCR/DVD combo, full kitchen and a full basement. I don't have a fully enclosed deer stand so I will be roughing it 10-12 hours a day! :hmm:

Do you need some plans for building a enclosed deer stand? If I think of it I will get some pictures of some of our stands.

Forget all of that. What you need to do is set up a radio controlled rifle, and a remote video feed via satellite so you can hunt from the LaZboy in your living room.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.
