The Kahr's are about as slim as they come. A P45 has the same width as a 1911 frame, that's sans grips. A P9 or PM9 or up to a P45 should be investigated.

The 1911 with thin grips and the Sig P239 are both excellent suggestions as well.

Just to throw a variation in. Don't skip the cz/witness style nor a highpower. They are the smallest feeling double stacks.

I was just going to say the PF-9 would be a good option to look at and take Pete's advice too, the CZ paterned guns would be a great place to look too.

In no particular order...
Browning Hipower
S&W 3913
S&W CS9
1911, I prefer regular grips, straight mainspring cover, and a short trigger.

Check out the CW series if those are too pricey. Same width as P series. also the new Ruger SR9/c's are very thin (1.1 inches I think) but they seem to still be working out the kinks.

Kahr P9 or K9. Very slim, buttery smooth DAO trigger.

1911 thin grips and short trigger and possibly a flat main spring houseing.
