That will be taken down pretty soon. He's described as a "fringe character".

State Sen. Linda Lopez, a close friend of Giffords', told Fox News that the three-term congresswoman was shot in the temple and the bullet exited through her forehead. Lopez said Giffords was responding to commands and she was confident that she will survive surgery but is not sure what Giffords' long term prognosis is.

If that is is youtube channel, he looks like a borderline militia-type character. Currency backed by gold/silver, the Constitution is being modified by changing definitions, etc. Yikes.

I agree with one of your assertions.

I don't have a clue where you got militia, gold/silver, or constitutional references from in his videos or even his favorites. He seems like a psychotic nutcase, or someone who makes videos while taking hard drugs.

Or someone who thinks he's the second coming. Seriously strange video's he's got there, even if he's not the shooter (remember he's a suspect at this point, and this is still America-for now). You know what has me most concerned-that we are "creating" more on the fringes of society members such as this through some of the medication of kids we currently do (still over diagnosing ADD/ADHD, depression in teens when it's normal hormone's etc.) while not knowing what long term effects could develop from this. I am not claiming depression is not real, or not needing medication, just that it and ADD/ADHD can be over diagnosed in kids who are just going through normal life and have parents/officials not wanting to deal with it.

On the other hand, hopefully she can pull through. If she's reacting normally to stimuli, that's a good sign. However, if she's experience decerebrate posturing/motions, that's a extremely bad sign (that's basically non-purposeful motions a brain that's dying makes, and general public can misinterpret that as responsive motions).

I had heard on Sue Jeffers show that the gun was a Glock 19 and not an "automatic" weapon.
I had a friend a few years back that was diagnosed with a brain tumor and after she had it removed, she was talking to the doctors, but went down hill from there. I would wait until tomorrow to see how Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is doing.
Our prayers are hith her and all the victims of this tragic event today.

Per the AP, the gunman in Arizona lawmaker’s shooting identified as Jared Laughner, and the weapon used was a pistol with an extended magazine.
According to Jay Bookman, Laughner is “ex-military and fought in Afghanistan.”
So, we'll see if MSM blames the extended magazine, or the stereotype of a veteran (I doubt Jared served in a combat role)

He is not ex-military according to new releases... He tried to apply but was turned down for reasons that are protected under privacy acts.

I imagine this will soon be blamed on right-wing Republican rhetoric and a call for new gun laws will be coming shortly thereafter.

Jane Fonda is already blaming Sara Palin, Tea Party, and Glen Beck.
I like the Tea Party and listen to conservative talk radio, and do NOT believe they are condoning or inciting violence.
