these people live in britain where the posession of assault rifles and hand guns is illegal, so they mutilate guns to the point where they can still have them.

This is why you live in America? I assumed it was because you were born here, and being a minor, unable to leave.

That's painful to look at... those poor firearms.

I looked at this and thought, how sad.

Not necessarily because they can't own guns (that's their own damned fault), but that there are people that would pay what is presumably a large amount of money for a deactivated G18, for example.

I wonder what it is they do to deactivate a G18? it didn't appear to have any visible modifications.

The Home Affairs Committee in the UK has released a report on firearms control as a result of the rampage in Cumbria earlier in the year. Among a considerable number of recommendations the committee has made a recommendation that only registered firearm dealers be allowed to sell de-activated firearms commercially and all pre-95 specification de-activated firearms should be upgraded to the current specification. It is clear from such a recommendation that the committee doesn't really understand the situation with pre-95 de-activated firearms (essentially only SMGs and automatic rifles were significantly affected by the 1995 changes). The Home Office has promised to respond to the recommendations in two months.

Because not only are deactivated firearms dangerous.... they need to be deactivated more and controlled more!

yeah, its pretty pathetic. the English firearms ban just stops responsible citizens and peace officers from having guns, but the thugs still have theirs. quite smart.
