I picked one of these from Globeflyer on Saturday. I mounted it on my new Daniel Defense AR and sighted it in on Sunday. This is a very nice optic. It took less than 5 rounds to get this thing dead center. 500 rounds later, and this thing was still spot on. Great optic for a great price.

With a BCM flat top AR, would this require removal of the front fixed sight? Pardon my ignorance.

I might be wrong, but since you can co-witness I would say no.

On another note, I got mine today. Very very nice. I got it all mounted up and now I just gotta go shoot it! :twisted:

It shouldn't require removal. Not at the house but if I can recall the center of the reticle sits 1 3/4" from the top of an A3 (flat-top) upper.

I got one from flyer on Sunday before I stopped at the gun show. He is a good guy and the sight is great! I am going to pick some more stuff for my ar from him along with the 2x when it becomes available.

Had red-dot optics when i was in the desert we had no need to remove the front sight post, actually sighted the optics in by resting the red dot reticle on the front post. So long answer short you should be just fine.
