I picked up a new LC9 last night. It was purchased online and shipped to John (as everyone has said he was a great guy to work with). The dealer I purchased it from did not put it back in its bag to ship it to MN so the gun had a few minor scratches which isn't a big deal. However, while cleaning it I noticed a bit of wear on the slide and barrel. Are these simply from its one test fire at the factory, and then the usual people looking at it and cycling the slide? Or could this be from someone at the original dealer taking a few shots before selling it?
Either way I am keeping it and plan on enjoying it. I would have still bought it knowing it had been shot before. I just want to know if the seller played with it a bit before shipping.
