Some of you are under the impression that I am "tied to" Joel Rosenberg. Totally false.

In 2003, AACFI hired him to write the Everything book for it. AACFI owns the exclusive license to the book. For that he is paid a royalty. He used to buy the book from AACFI (under his contract). Other than that, Tim and I have NO BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP with him.

Tim and I have NO PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Joel of any sort. He was never more than an acquaintance; now he isn't even that. And I'm glad. I've never been other than estranged, by varying degrees, from Joel. He is impossible to like even on his best behavior.

Joel has never had any relationship with GOCRA other than as a supporter. He has never had any authority whatsoever. And he never will.

At the moment, Joel is harassing Tim and I just as he is hassling some of you.

I really appreciate your posting that. I personally have avoided reading any of Joel's websites for quite some time, and was one of those under the impression, mainly from Joel dropping your name in numerous venues, that you were much closer to Joel than you were.

Good luck with the harassment, and welcome to the club.
It turns out that what you have is less important than what you do with it.

I've seen the Kaczynski-esque emails Professor Olson has been receiving lately. I was pretty sure he had nothing to do with helping JR in any way, but good of him to make it clear. Another vote against lunacy in the firearm instructor and 2nd Amendment activist community.

In this context, that's one of the dumbest things you've ever posted. Brainless threads like that are, quite likely, a big part of the reason he does not spend much time here. I agree completely and hope that Joe will overlook these few problem children and continue to post here with the insight that he has on several topics.
