Picked up the Lucid from Dave today. Headed to the Bville pistol range and got'er all sighted in. Nice optic I have to say. I mounted it on my DPMS lite 16 using a cantelever rail on the carry handle. This works great for you guys that don't have a flat top reciever. Only prob is no co-witness on the iron sights. I can live with that. I looked around for a long time and drooled over all the Acog, Trigicon and Eotec stuff but this Lucid is great and and I have lots of money left over for more fun stuff. Tomorrow will be the big test. I am shooting in a 3 gun match and there will be some 100 yard steel being shot. After the way it handeled at the range I am confident some steel will be goin' down tomorrow. Thanks Dave for the good deal on a good optic. Hope we can do some more business in the near future.

Good test for the new Lucid today. In the rain, 100 yard shots on 5" steel. I have to say I'm pleased with the results. My total time was 130 seconds and that put me in the upper half of the group shooting. For the first time shooting using the Lucid at 100 yards I was sceptical as to how well it was going to preform. I sighted it in yesterday at the bville range with a limited range of 47 yards. It was spot on for 100 yards. In the closer shots of the other stages I need more practice in where to aim for an accurate hit. All in all I'm very pleased with the results. If your looking for a affodrable red dot that will give you the preformance of the higher priced optics out there you can't go wrong with this Lucid. Thanks again Dave for the great deal and I look forward to doing more biz with you in the future.

First I would like to say that Globeflyers was great to do business with. I took my new Lucid HD7 to BPR and played with it a little over the weekend and I have to say that I was very impressed. The feature benefits vs. the cost of this RDS makes it an exceptional value. We were able to sight in the Lucid HD7 very quickly and were putting rounds through the same hole or really close to the same hole right away (three shot groups inside of a quarter @ 25 yards). So far the Lucid HD7 held its zero after shooting 500 rounds of 22 through my S&W 15-22.

The auto brightness feature on the Lucid HD7 worked flawlessly, although I personally preferred using the manual mode. I think the auto brightness feature will take some getting used to and I don't think it helped that the lighting in BPR is not the best.

I should be receiving my new AR any day now and I am looking forward to testing this out on a larger caliber rifle. I am sure based on my experience with this product so far and all of the stellar reviews on this product it wont disappoint me.

The bottom line is this is a great product with great service and Globeflyers is throwing some money back to support this forum. If you buy one you will not be disappointed.

I would like to see the 2x to 5x magnifier. I realize after using my HD7 for the past few weeks I think some magnification would come in handy. So let me know when you get'em.

My only question is, does it keep zero when switching between reticles?
