What do you guys think? Look like it can be had for mid $5xx.

Just got my PTC and I'm going to celebrate with a new carry piece.

I just bought one and I love it. I took my P238 over to BPR and shot 200 rounds without a problem. My P238 was very accurate for how small it is and the night sights are a great addition.

The earlier versions had their share of problems, but I think that they may have everything resolved right now.

Great gun. Bought mine late in the winter for summer pocket carry. Not too heavy, but heavy enough to remind you it's there. got the SAS model for $500 or so at Cabela's.

I put 300 rounds of Speer Lawman, PMC, and WWB through it without issue.

I bought a p238 HD got home with it the wife clamed it.
Had to go buy another got a SAS for me.
Both have over 400 rounds down range no issues.
I have some other small guns & I have to say I love the sights on these guns, heck they are larger then the sights on my EMP.

I have the Equinox and 200 rounds of CorBon tested. Just the right color and target acquisition is quick with the sights. Coloring is just right and blends in well.

P238 will work with Colt Mustang mags which are a lot cheaper. However, they will not be as reliable as the factory mags and you should go with the factory mags.

Yep, that's one good looking gun. Was on the fence about it earlier since that Springfield Operator went up forsale again, but after going to a local shop to play with one I'm sold.

I just shot my Equinox for the first time today. Love it. I have a CTC laser coming for it this week.

Just received my $50 Rebate back from CTC - for the Laser I bought for my P238. It is a sweet set up.

Went to OGC for the picnic yesterday and brought along my Sig P238 HD for the first time (the all SS version). I am NOT happy with it's operation. Using factory mags and Federal ammo, it jammed once or twice on every mag! Usually the third or fourth shot. Failure to eject the spent round. Even when I dropped the mag and cleared the loose live round, the extractor would fail to grasp the case and pull it out on several occasions. Cleaned it later that night and read the manual for "troubleshooting"....says one reason might be "a weak grip or limp wristing" the gun. Hmmmm, didn't think I was doing that, but maybe. Any ideas?? BTW, I also shot my XDm (.45ACP) and the new Ruger 1911...no problems what so ever....both of those worked flawlessly.

Small guns are very susceptible to limp wristing, on average. Make sure you have as much contact between your hands and the gun as possible, and take as high a grip as you can, so the recoil is transmitted into your arm instead of just torquing on your wrist.

But disassemble it, clean it well, and lube it back up, sometimes a gun that occasionally malfunctions due to limp wristing can be made to work despite the user's girly wrists ;) if you make sure it's well lubed and clean.

Thanks, I'll try that. I have big hands, so there's not much more gun I could grab anyway. :D
