FS: Front Sight "Diamond Lifetime + Alaska" Membership

Postby macphisto on Tue May 24, 2011 9:37 am

Here is your chance to get the best membership Front Sight offers for less than the cost of a single course. As the name implies, this is a lifetime membership that allows you to take every class they offer as many times as you'd like. In addition to their main facility near Las Vegas, this membership also includes unlimited training at their Alaska facility should you be so inclined (I hear it's a lot more comfortable to shoot up there during July and August when it's 110º in Nevada).

This is made possible by a promotion Front Sight is offering which allows a current member (me) to buy as many additional duplicate memberships for friends (you) and family as I'd like at $500 a piece. It's an amazing value; I haven't come across a better value anywhere in the firearms training industry (okay, maybe Appleseed).

I attended Front Sight for the first time last month and took the 4-Day Defensive Handgun course as well as the 2-Day Empty Hand Defense course. The training is first-rate, the facilities are welcoming, and the staff and instructors are fantastic. I'll admit I was skeptical going into it, but my mind was completely changed by the experience. I'm already looking forward to going back next year to take a shotgun and/or rifle course; I just wish my schedule allowed me to go back sooner!

Here's the current course list: http://www.frontsight.com/Courses.asp

More info on the Diamond Membership (no, at this price you don't get all the bonuses): http://www.frontsight.com/diamond-membership.asp

$500

Offer expires May 31st

They don't have any to sell. They do play a video about how to become a member during lunch on one of the days, but it's pretty tolerable.

I think they put something in the coffee. It's good coffee, so I drank quite a bit of it.

What do you get out of it, a free pistol or something if you sign up enough people?

Yes, but mostly it's the satisfaction of passing on a great deal to the local shooting community.

Looks like Oleg Volk also fell victim to the spiked coffee.

Referring to the 4-day pistol course...
Oleg Volk wrote:I took that course in March. It was well worth the time and the expense. Started out very basic, ended with techniques and time pressures that strained my skill level. The instructors were competent and good at teaching. I liked that they spoke well, avoiding profanities typical of many other courses.

Oleg Volk wrote:The course proved equally valuable to experienced and inexperienced shooters. The expected Front Sight sales pitches were minimal and restrained.

No time share pitches. Minimal membership pitch. A friend gave me four certificates for the course, so I took it with friends and really liked the training. It was better than most courses I've done up to now.

Welcome! I would have thought your first post on this forum would have been related to Kel-Tec or West Photo/Camera stuff... but apparently this thread caught your eye. :D

Was Mac the guy I saw downtown handing out flyers and wearing a Ignatius Piazza t-shirt? Anyone know a good cult deprogrammer?

I'm kidding. This sounds like a great deal and nice of you to offer it to everyone

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
