I believe it is made in The People's Republic of China.

Is there at least an American office that can be held to the warranty? I've dealt with importing for a long time and let me tell you, there is sometimes no recourse when Chinese products fail...

No disrespect to the seller, sounds like a great product. Naturally, we just have to be more skeptical with stuff shipping from the anti-America. Any left? :D

I can assure you that Jason Wilson, founder of LUCID is an American. The HD7 has been proven time and again and has an impeccable customer service and warranty record. You can rest assured that this optic is of the highest quality and guarantees their craftsmanship and function. No fly-by-night company here. Products are guaranteed to work! Period.

Yes, we do have them in stock! Contact me if interested.

This optic was developed by the aforementioned American and it was designed and tested here, but due to manufacturing prices he was forced to have them made overseas to keep retail cost within reason (he posted this info on AR15 awhile ago I cannot seem to find a link.) Everything I have heard about these has been great and I love the one I have.

I'm beyond thrilled with my HD7. It's extremely well-built, holds zero, and is very easy to use.

No, not that guy. Or that other one either.

I have had mine for a month or so now. I'm very happy with it. Had it mounted on top of a carry handle A1 set up first. Was dead on. Then I changed my reciever to a flat top. Mounted it and re-sighted it in with very little effort. It'll hit a 5" plate at 100 yards no problem. I like the EOTEC type reticle the best. I also have a set of MAGPUL pop up sights for closer targets and it co-witnesses perfect through the lower third of the sight. For the investment I have into this set up it wouldn't come close to the price of the higher end sights. I think this Lucid is going to be a big hit so get yours now before they are scarce or the price goes up. I have no personal interest in this product. Not making any money or anything. I just like to see a guy succed when he has a good idea and dosn't feel like gouging the people that will buy his ideas.

I've heard nothing but good things about this sight, and I've done research on it.Please take my previous comments about them being made in China with the utmost respect. I understand there's **** products and good products coming out of China, this one appears to be a good one. As soon as I have some extra cash, I'm ordering one for sure. I understand the difficulties in having your product manufactured here...plus the cost in dealing with government bureaucracies, taxes, regulations, etc. I'm in the midst of starting my own company and there's tons of red tape. As current U.S. policy stands I see a huge benefit in having products manufactured overseas, so long as you have a handle on QC, which Lucid certainly does. My hats off to a good product at a fair price.
