Me too, sort of. Meaning that I used to own a 17, 19, and about 6 other models from gen 1 through gen 3 over 2 decades, and the last an only glock I have and plan to keep is my gen 3 glock 34. I never could shoot well with the other models (shorter bbls especially) due to grip config angle and weight distribution. For some reason the 34 (although grip still rubs my thumb knuckle oddly) I can shoot well, both accurately and consitently.

That said, I never had a technical issue of any kind with any glock over the 2 plus decades, but couldn't get comfortable with any of them until the 34. It's the only one I'll probably ever have (and keep) from here forward.

Well...After much deliberation, I've decided to go with a Glock 17.

The deciding factor was the lack of availability of duty holsters that I wanted. The 34 is still on the table though... I'm going to get in some range time with RobD and shoot them side by side. If I'm blown away by the 34... I may pick one of those up as well.

I went to Bill's and shot a XDM, M&P, and the 17 side by side last week. Went and picked up the 17 that night. I fell in love with it. Put a hundred rounds through it yesterday and I am happy as a clam. Congratulations on your purchase! I know I am happy with mine!

Where did you find a shop that had a 34 on the shelf?
