back in montana, circa 1979-83, we'd hunt them for pelt. got around $35.00 for skinned and not shot too bad. ranchers were always willing to let us hunt on their land, esp. in march and april when their calves were new out in the fields. pelts weren't as good then so they didn't mind us going out in january or february when they were prime fur. we used to lay on top of hay loaves or round bales and call them in. coyotes never looked up since they figured the dying rabbit was somewhere on the ground. i have no idea what threat coyotes are to cattle calves in MN or what you can get for a prime pelt now.

From their FAQ:

We cook dogburgers on the grill almost every weekend. Sometimes they taste dry and bland. What am I doing wrong?
For juicy dogburgers, remember these easy pointers. Avoid overmixing ground dog meat because excessive handling can make it tough. Grill PuppyBeef burgers over medium heat . And resist the temptation to press on the burgers while they're grilling, as this squeezes out the juices and makes them dry. You can also read our BBQ Tips section to learn more about barbecuing.

Could these be the "easy pointers" mentioned in the response?

From a purely nutritional perspective, I suppose coyotes would be better for you than doves...

Any weekend works for me... :D

Out of curiosity, what do you hunt them with? I suffer from a very poor selection of firearms.

Actually, short range=shotgun, medium range=AR/5.56 or 22-250, long range=.308 or 6.5-284 or 7mmRemMag
