Reloading Chair?

Those that sit while reloading, what do you use as your seat? I was thinking a drafting chair would be quite comfortable, but from what I've been able to find they're a bit pricey.

I picked up a $30 shop stool on sale at Northern Tool (round, padded rotating top, non height adjustable) - they had some more expensive options with height adjustment and a back rest as well for a few dollars more. Seems to do the job.

Nice adjustable office chair that stayed at our house when my wife retired. Thank goodness her company was not into cheap stuff.

My answer is the same as Larry's. In addition, there are used office furniture stores in the Twin Cities where you can used chairs much cheaper, and who gives a **** what the chair in your reloading room looks like? You MUST have good lumbar support and good upper back support, so get a "manager's" chair with the high back for best comfort. Just try not to absorb the residual stupidity that was left there by the last idiot manager who either got fired or promoted to get his ass out of the way.

I wouldn't mind getting something like this, but a bit cheaper. Basically I need a stool with adjustable feet because the floor I'm on is slanted.

This would be nice but it doesn't have adjustable feet:

Do you have any recommendations for used furniture stores?

I use a tall stool with a backrest. My bench is tall so I can either sit or stand when I am reloading.

I use a white vinyl outdoor foynicha chair which we got for $1 somewhere. I already have an adjustable foot so that's not an issue. I don't sit in the chair for long periods of time at a stretch since I am usually getting up to look for something I dropped which always seems to end up under the bench.

I've got somethin' like this ... 'sept mine says "Smith & Wesson" on it ... and maybe cost a few bucks more.

I started with more 'er less the same thing, but with a pneumatic height adjustment, from Sam's club fer close to $30 ... 'til the steel holdin' the seat on snapped like a twig (musta been the wife, gettin' on there? :? )

Anyhow, with the LNL-AP, I don't set at my bench fer too long no more, anyhow. Image

Got mine at the "Savers" store. It's like a goodwill kinda place. Nice office type adjustable chair with wheels. It's the tall kind so it 's the perfect height for my bench. Paid $8 bucks for it. I can roll all around my gun room, never have to get up.

I have a size medium exercise ball. Good for the abs and back while sitting at the bench.

I set my powder measurer cap at eye level. Used 2x8 to raise my dressor and counter top. I can stand or sit on a stool, I found one for free On Craigslist. :P
