Stewart, Dave, and Mike in particular have been doing some great work, especially in the area of tactical shooting. I wish others in the sport shooting arena would step up too and we'd start seeing some formal target shooting events...silhouette, cowboy, bench, maybe an Appleseed...but maybe those things will spin off thanks to some of Stewart's efforts. The kind of leadership those guys have been providing has been a great thing and looks likely to keep moving things forward.

Thanks Hmac,
We love doing what we are doing. Once the range goes up and live we have so many things on the "want" list it's sick. We would love to have a variety of shooting sports groups come and use it. I can tell you this we will have weekly action leagues pistol, and possibly pistol and rifle, aka 2 gun leagues. We are hoping to also have some rimfire leagues and events too to promot new shooters to the sport. We also hope to continue to bring top level training to the area by hosted classes and high quality on site training as well. More stuff will be coming up in the near future as well.

I'm very excited to see how this new range pans out. I'd love to sit down with you at some point and hear what you can share about how the concept will be implemented. All I know is that it will be 50 yards, indoors, and a state-of-the art facility. Knowing you guys, I suspect there will be some provisions for those who wish to practice tactical shooting, but liability issues must be a bitch. I know our little contingent of SO-affiliated tactical doctors will sign whatever waivers are necessary.

I would love to, how about over the kydex stove? Ill get a hold of you on one of my next weekends off and we can meet up. I'll share some ideas that would be good to run past you and get your feedback and interest in.

Thanks,
Dave

Sounds good Dave. I'm on call this weekend and off the next three. Let's set something up. I have plenty of Kydex, rivets, loops, and oven space.
