Glock matches

Postby someone1980 on Tue Apr 22, 2008 9:27 pm

Being an XD guy so I don't know many that hang out in the Glock circles. Are there any Glock specific matches around the cities?

I have heard of GSSF, but can't find any current info.
I also heard something about a "Glock Challenge" last summer, but again my Google foo is failing me.

Is there a good online place where Glock people gather?

Thanks for your help!

As a GSSF member I just picked up my Glock 19 at Streichers last week for $398.70 plus tax using the certificate they provided. One per member. No LEO status needed, and yes you get to pick the model and can add Trijicon or Glock NS or get different models at similar savings. I got mine plain and could have had the G17, 22, 23 etc for the same price. I prefer to add Tru Glo tritium sights for my old eyes, but that is just me. A Glock 34 is just $480.70.

By the way does Springfield, Smith, Kimber or any other gun company send out multiple armorers to matches to repair and upgrade any gun they have ever made. Glock does at the GSSF matches (no need to enter, just show up) and yes, flame suit on, I love my combat Tupperware.
