They all do, just some use different ways of doing it and some polish after, some use flames, some use induction, but safe to say all mfg's anneal to some extent, all rifle cases have varying degrees of hardness, the neck is softer while the walls will be medium soft and the head is normally full on hard.
Now I don't agree with John, I think there is a place for annealing HOWEVER the VAST majority of people will likely never have a rifle accurate enough to really know, and if they do they likely won't be a skilled enough reloader to notice. I would never bank on annealing as something that’s going to tightin up groups much. It really helps when you are a match shooter and you run the same perfectly prepped batch of cases match after match, that repeated use will eventually lead to work hardened necks and then and only then will you see a noticeable loss of accuracy. This is only for the really tweakers, guys sorting brass to half a grain, guys that play with every Redding bushing till they find just the right one. If your rifle isn’t shooting thru the same hole 95% of the time at 100 yards you will likely never see any gain.
Now annealing will almost universally keep cases in service longer, provided it’s done right. You can over heat the neck, if you overheat the brass will go dead soft and will never hold proper tension again, you need tension for accuracy, if its visibly glowing you have gone way to far, some say they hit them with a torch till they glow and they simply don’t know what they are doing or what they are talking about. The target temp for the annealed state of brass with produced the faintest glow and will only be visible in the dark, if you are seeing bright anything you have gone too far, that brass is now junk.
As for posting my machine, I’d rather not, I have hundreds of hours into its design, it’s got features no other has. It’s by far the easiest to adjust and has a few other features not found on anything. While I have no ambition to ever make or sell them I also don’t want others taking my hard earned ideas and making a buck off it.
