Dave,

If you don't mind my asking, how soon?

As soon as we get them we put them out. We have a lot of orders in just waiting for delivery. I wish I could give you a date but the best I can say is soon. We want them just as bad as everyone, we can't get them soon enough.

Thanks again for the support. By the way while our official slogan is "we love it" we also love alot of the other ones too.

If any of you happen to stop out on opening day - me and some of the other local yokels are planning a little tailgating get together in the parking lot that day (er... we haven't told FF, not too sure if we should or not ;).

We are also trying to convince the bars in Carver to offer a free drink with any FF receipt from that day... not sure if they'll do it or not.

I'll keep you all posted as we get closer.

Fleet Farm....Handguns

Postby adoptedson on Sat Apr 28, 2012 11:21 am

Went to FF in Brooklyn Park today. They have added two cases for handguns, and started to fill one of them. I went mainly to get some more of the Remington UMC 9mm MC that they had for 11.99 last week. To my surprise, it was on sale for 9.99!! That price is hard to beat locally. Anybody looking for some 9mm range ammo, FF is the place to be this week. Go now and stock up!

I'm guessing what he meant was he just bought some and then it goes on sale. If it would make you feel better I can tell them to not put anymore ammo on sale :D
Just kidding of course, my local store is already sold out of UMC 9. Remember we do offer rain checks.
Thanks, Dave

I'm sorry to report that the above slogan became a big fat lie the day they decided not to carry bib overalls for girls, boys, or women. That's right, you can not go into the Lakeville Fleet Farm and come out with a pair of coveralls (much less shortalls) for your wife or kids. Carhartt still makes them, of course, but FF doesn't stock them. This is a sure sign that the end times are near. Mark my words.

Im not sure how to take that, I don't know if your upset or not. I respectfully disagree a sign of the ending times is whether or not we carry overalls. :). Thanks for your support of our stores.
