Man bags

Postby brauchma on Mon Aug 06, 2007 8:29 pm

I saw a thread on the TCC forum that talked about man bags. Does anybody have one? There was a sweet brand that was linked and I can recall what it was. Any ideas? They seem like they would be nice for hiking, hunting, and general use (if a man can handle it).

It was probably Maxpedition, they make nice stuff. I've been on the fence about getting a gear slinger from them and the only reason I haven't is because I'm spending all my free funds on more guns and ammo

Those are the ones! Commence bookmarking!

I don't think they look too bad. It would be good for riding bike as well.

That is a good reason... :)

Does anybody have one of these?

I have the Jumbo Type S. I don't have the holster for it. You're welcome to borrow it if you like.

I have the smaller Versipack, and I carry it every day. I got tired of choosing between bulging pockets or not having everything I might need.

The one I have probably isn't big enough to carry in. Maybe a snubbie or a small auto. But I don't plan on carrying in anything that might come off my body, so it's not an issue for me.

It's tough, well made, and easy to carry. It holds everything I need it to. If it ever wears out (seems unlikely) I'll certainly buy another one.

It's not a purse, it's European.

I would not carry off body either. I like the idea to keep stuff in it instead of my pockets.

How often do you use it? I may take you up on that...

You may want to inquire as to the color of this "Man Purse" so you can get matching shoes and gloves. :P
