Steel Targets for Sale

Postby engnerdan on Mon Jun 25, 2012 8:30 am

I have several hundred pounds of AR-500 1/4" thick targets cut for pistol shooting. These are great for fun or for practice, several are reduced size USPSA targets.

6" Circles - $10 ea - 15 LEFT

6" X 12" rectangles, these are USPSA "A zone only" targets. - $20 ea - 2 LEFT

USPSA "C" zone without head - $45 ea - 8 LEFT

USPSA "C" zone with head - $55ea - 4 LEFT

I am offering to cut hanging holes or weld on a small piece of steel to the back for hanging/mounting on any of the targets. If you need something more elaborate it will cost extra. The 6" squares already have 2 hanging holes so you can hang them from chains or you can hang it like a diamond from a shepherds hook.

All targets are bare, raw steel laser cut and generally rust and scale free.

Targets are located in Bloomington.

I've got one of the 6" square targets, and have sufficiently pounded on it at the range. Just yesterday as a matter of fact, mine took a beating from a 200gr LSWC about 250 times. :D

This steel will eat up and spit out generally any traditional handgun round you can throw at it, but it doesn't like rifle rounds so much. .223 craters this stuff pretty good, and 7.62x54r will deform it. Not significantly mind you, but over time I could see it being problematic.

IMHO, very much worth the money for good pistol range practice.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

Hmmmmm. Might have you bring a couple of these to the bubba shoot off. These would look nice in my back yard.
Wrap that around your overly muscled left wing and row your dinghy in counterclockwise circles as a result.

She Who Must Be Obeyed has given me the green light! I'd very much like to buy three 12" circles and two 12" squares if they're available. I'm pretty close to Bloomington and can meet whenever you have time. I would like them to all have at least two holes in them if that's an option. Thanks!

Ok, I think I have contacted everybody. I hope to start handing off targets tomorrow and through the weekend to those I have talked to.

I will be adding a quantity left for sale to the original post soon.

Just a heads up, next time you cut them, do them with bolt holes. That way after they get beat up with rifle rounds, and get a bow going you can just turn them around and peen them back the opposite direction!

Actually I am offering to cut bolt holes in them free of charge. I had then cut without holes so that they could be welded to a stand or a hole added and then be bolted to something.
