First time ever shooting a handgun. Is this decent?

20ft or 20yds

15 seconds or 15 minutes

Hipoint and iron sights offhand or a 41A and scope sandbagged

Think it was 20 feet. About 15 seconds.

Looks like that SR9 fits you pretty good.

Aside for the one in lower left (maybe liver shot) all the rest are in the major vitals areas. So I say keep shooting to tighten up the group but its very respectable for your first time out. Nice work!

Sr9? Wouldn't that require a mag change for fifteen rounds? With the time frame given I'd guess that is something that didn't require a mag change first time out.

Either way, good start OP.

Good shooting there! I need to order a 100 pack of those targets so I can train in my backyard this summer.

Looks good for a first outing! You'll get better as you practice. Try different ammo out, see if there are particular brands/weights that give you tighter groups.

I'm still practicing myself. My first outing was a little across the board because the adrenaline was pumping.
