GOCRA benefit permit class: Mar 9, 8a - 3p, Forest Lake

Register for a DISCOUNTED class to benefit GOCRA!

Please join MN Tactics for a special permit class to benefit the Minnesota Gun Owner's Civil Rights Alliance - the grass roots gun rights organization that has been protecting and expanding our rights for 24 years.

We've cut our standard rate to a $75 minimum donation and all proceeds go directly to GOCRA.

The agenda:
We will meet at 8am on March 9th, 2013 at the Forest Lake Sportsmen's Club which is located at 4648 240th Street North, Forest Lake, MN, 55025.
Class will be held in the Range House which is Gate 2.

The qualification will be shot from 21 feet. Please bring 50 rounds of ammunition. The range is a sheltered range with a torpedo heater but it is outdoors. Each student will be outside for approximately 10 minutes. Please dress accordingly and bring thin gloves if you have them. If you own eye and ear protection, please bring those as well.

If you need to borrow a firearm:
Please notify me ASAP and bring 50 rounds of commercially loaded 9mm ammunition. Please go out and purchase the ammunition today as there's some shortage in supply.

Please bring a pen, some paper, and any questions you may have. A sandwich lunch will be provided

[I mentioned this on the other board but since there are a bunch of people here who don't visit that one I'll repeat it...]

What better way to get your carry permit training or renewal training taken care of while benefiting GOCRA and helping to preserve your gun rights in MN?? My gun club offered this recently and it was a great program. The instructors putting these on deserve extra kudos for donating their time. Thanks folks!

What a GREAT idea Paul!!!

I know a couple of people that have been thinking about getting their permit, but are on a really tight budget. I just gave them your contact info and told them to contact you ASAP if they are interested. Hopefully they will!

You must know someone who needs their renewal this year?? Or a couple folks that are interested in getting their permit for the first time... This is a great opportunity to get the training accomplished for that as well as educating them about what GOCRA has been doing for all MN firearms owners in this legislative battle.

Remember, you can take your renewal training up to a year before your permit expires (or before applying for the first time). Check your permit expiration date.

GOCRA has a payment page up if that makes it simpler. You can pay via PayPal or click add to cart, then checkout, then don't have a Paypal account and it will accept credit cards.
