And I still want to know why you want to redefine traditional marriage into this new and unnatural one-ma/one-woman thing.

True. But nature doesn't define numbers one way or another. I know most animals naturally go around f'ing in nature, but that doesn't make it a requirement of nature.

Polygamy has generally been the exception, not the rule.

Ok, then why talk about whether homosexuality is natural or not? Either nature is important, or it isn't. Can't have it both ways.

In the Bible it doesn't seem to be... Wives, concubines, all over the place.

Keep your hands out of my wallet, and your religion out of our politics.

I don't understand why anyone really cares. They could be allowed to marry today and the sun will still come up tomorrow. It changes nothing for anyone except for those that would benefit from it.

I understand this much: you're perfectly happy imposing your religious beliefs on everyone.

I wonder how you'd like having Sharia Law, for example, imposed on you?

It's not a REQUIREMENT of nature, unlike the male/female bit. I don't have any problem with multiple spouses (signif others) though.

Tell you what. You find me a sheep willing to sign a marriage contract, and I'll support its right to marry a person.

A rephrase, I believe it's far better than gay marriage. I still think the best situation is (1) father and (1) mother.
