No, that wouldn't have stopped me from buying guns because I never planned to sell them even before I got them, so it'd be a non-issue for me. I looked into MN's laws before I purchased as well, so I was aware of it at least. I don't have them memorized, but I'm familiar with them. One of the reasons I bought new firearms was the avoid any issues with their former use or ownership. Likewise, it's the same reason I had my house built vs. buying one used because I KNOW it was never used as a meth lab, had other crimes committed there, etc, etc. Not everything I own is new, but those used things I do own are much less of a concern to me than things I feel need to buy new.
