1st Anniversary Pics

Postby Stradawhovious on Sun Aug 10, 2008 7:15 pm

Here are some pics of the 1st Anniversary outing. I thinks it's safe to say that we all had fun :D

Here is the gathering spot, where we ate, and BS'd and then BS'd some more...

Vlad brought one of these, it was by far the source of most of the day's amusement

Shooters ready? :D

Vlad decided to get cocky and shoot left handed.... Oh yeah, I kicked his ass 8-)

Vlad's 7" 1911 with supressor, he calls it "tiny"

As you can see, there was no shortage of toys available..... Try not to drool on the keyboard fellas :P

The moment Rucker has been waiting for, doesn't seem too excited does he?

Thanks to all who showed up, for a safe, and fun afternoon. Thanks especially to Westberg, and all others who helped organize, set up, or donated to the door prizes, and most of all, thanks to Mike for continuing to run this site!!!!!

Congratulations to all, and especially to Lord Rucker!

Great pics!

I think it turned out great; I hope everybody enjoyed themselves :)

Thanks to everyone who brought food, grilled it for us, brought targets, brought guns for others to try, and to everybody for showing up!

There were also a lot of great door prizes donated. I think they should get some recognition also for their generosity. Check these guys out:

Thank you to all of the members who contributed to the purchase of the presentation gun for Rucker, the members and their families who were able to attend the BBQ and to members who brought targets and guns for others to shoot. After my vacation I was just happy to be sitting in the shade and having a cigar, everyone else seemed to enjoy the shooting.

Thank you all for supporting Rucker and the forum.......

It was a lot of fun. I'm thinking that it would be a shame to have to wait a whole year to do it again.... ;)

Are you suggesting you can do one without the other? I don't get it :?

You're right. we were plotting to get you another 1911 without the hassle of a BBQ, but don't worry about it, I've already called it off. :rotf:
