Good time to get into clay and trap. Oops, now shot shells will be gone as well... :o
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

Been seeing guns at slightly higher prices, but overall available except for the hardest to find before the panic anyway.

Ammo has been hell.

I scored 5 boxes of .40 from Brooklyn Park FF on Sunday. I'm sure it was gone by Monday AM. They only had another 7-8 boxes. Wish I could have bought more, but I didn't have the funds to buy my "limit" of 10 boxes at FF.

I was at Blaine GM and they had a lot of 40S&W and 45ACP. They had ammo can bundles where the ammo came 300 or 200 to a small ammo container for like 129$.

They had a number of them when i was there around 6:30pm yesterday.

The new executive orders will probably start a new round of panic buying. Think if they ban import of foreign Ammo and mags !

I saw the same deal on Sunday but couldn't bring myself to pay $129 for 200 rounds of .45 target ammo

I think those prices are standard for GM.....They have never been known to have normal prices on anything!

When the GM @ Maple Grove was closing, a 100 pack of American Eagle .223 was going for $60 and the normal price at Cabela's was $30 for the same thing.

I just stopped by my local LGS in Maple Lake, they had a lot of ammo.

Prices were a little too much for me, but cheaper than Armslist.

Here are some examples that I can recall.

22lr box of 50rds $5.00
20 rds .223 $15.00
50 rds 9mm $18.00

Stopped in Cabelas Owatona tonight looking for some 30-30, they had none. I did see, breifly, two 100 round boxes of CCI 22lr on a shelf with no price. Walked away for a couple minutes, came back and it was gone. I didn't need it anyways.

I then stopped at FF Owatana. Was able to buy my limit (10 boxes) of Federal Fusion 30-30. They had some Hornaday also, but the cheaper stuff was gone.

Stopped at L&M in mt. Iron. They had plenty of guns in stock but still no ammo...

Fondled a Sig Sauer M11-A1. Really nice pistol but too rich for my blood... $929.99 ouch!

I was talking to my neighbor today and he said he got a couple more boxes of Federal 9mm ammo from Walmart. I told him how lucky he was and asked what Walmart was charging for it. He told me his father-in-law works at Walmart and he got the last two boxes they had for $17. That's two boxes of 50 rounds for $17 total, not each. It seems the Walmart employees are buying ammo for their freinds and family, and getting it at employee discount to boot.

That is correct. Just about every box of primers taken off the store shelves at regular price winds up on gunbroker, I'd be willing to bet. I know of a couple guys that know cabelas stock schedule like clockwork. Just clear the shelves and double+ their money. The "panic" will not end when **** like that keeps happening.

Seeing how bare the shelves are and the political climate still uncertain, I'm just sitting on the stash I've got. Even if I did make some money selling it, any profits will get wiped out when the higher prices stick around after the market corrects itself and I go to replenish my stock. That's what happened after the '08 shortage. Prices went up and never really came back down to pre-panic prices.

I agree on the sporting clays. Shotshells and clays are about the only thing still plentiful. I think the shotguns are going to get more workout than usual this summer.
