I've shot USPSA at Oakdale for a couple of years now so I can visualize the layout.

Let me see if I've got this right:

I'm assuming we would be at one of the longer ranges.
There would be a dozen to 20 guys with 30-40 firearms.
Each person would bring some ammo for their guns.
If I wanted to shoot someones AR-15 and fired off 12 rounds I would 'be in their debt' for some ammo.
??? .75 cents a round ??? I could trade some ammo or make a payment into his ammo fund?

Never fired an AR-15 and would like to.

My presentation would be kind of ordinary
G-30 (.45) ? Viridian Laser / Light
Kel-Tec PF-9
Pocket .380
ISSC .22 That looks like a Glock 17

I did one of these at Burnsville for the MOB Minnesota Association of Bloggers and it was informal and fun. This was before ammo was scarce and we freely shared without keeping track.

If I fired off a dozen rounds from someones AR I'm thinking I want to pay my own way.

I've got more .22 than I need, same for .380. I actually haven't purchased ammo since the shortage began so....what are people expecting?

I've got a couple of Mayo Jars of .22 that cost me .03 cents a round :)

I know some people had expressed reservations about letting guys do a mag dump of scarce supply...so I suggested a small fee for those guys if they'd like. Just trying to keep everyone happy.

I'm bringing some more common rounds to use in someone else's gun...or possibly just trading off some time on one of mine!

I'm going to try and get there early enough to secure spots on the Competition Range...it has a 25yd and 50yd lines....and we could try some short shooting for handguns.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

I guess I'm just poorer than you guys.

So 10 people want to shoot the 300BLK - no biggie right? 10 people take 10 shots, that's 100rds or 5 boxes of ammo you can't go out and buy. I don't care about my gun seeing 100rds of shots I didn't put through it (I'll be shooting a lot more than that this weekend), but I can't afford to give away that much ammo - it's $30+ in bullets, primers I can't readily replace, and some powder that might be hard to find. For one gun. Add 4 more and we're talking about a couple hundred bucks.

I would attend this. But I only have two ar15s and two glock 9mms. (19,26 Gen 4s)

I have both an Aimpoint PRO and Eotech XPS–2 on different rifles. (Core15 Carbine /Adams Arms mid length piston)

The Aimpoint rifle would need to be zeroed in.

I will provide 50 rounds of ammo for each caliber first come first serve.

I also have a box of 380 Auto with 50 rounds I need to get rid of and shoot,

Someone willing to vouch for me? I would love an opportunity to zero in my home defense rifle for a low cost of meeting like minded guys

The Lance - you're in.

FJ - It's not about being poorer or richer...ammo costs money (and or time)...I know everybody gets that. That's why I suggested that a small fee per round was allowed to recoup costs. If I was shooting someone's firearm using their ammo, and not giving them anything in return...I'd expect the fork over a little $$ to cover expenses. :D

This is going to be fun!

If you have one in Black, could you bring it? my new S&W with a 16" barrel has a 1 3/4" flash hider on it (yes I measured for a true 16" barrel not 14.5.)

so I'm looking for something cool and close to a normal A2 length hider

I'm bringing 2 and I'll be nicer than 75 cents a pull

What other colors can you get in 5.56? Chrome and machined?

Satin (bead blasted) and natural shiny. There are no shiny 5.56's availible right now, and probably won't be for a couple more weeks until I finish the 300blk run.

Well pending a good demo, I'll take the black/ melonited one.

I showed these to a few of the other AR owners at work and they all want more info too.
