I've never liked the "Minnesota Nice" passive-aggressive crap used by people who would rather put on a shallow facade everyone sees through for the appearance of niceness and not making waves. I much rather prefer the way people are out East, bluntly honest about speaking their mind and to the point of it being a fault. Not everyone is that way, but most Easteners I've met or known are.
