The most notorious local cop killer, whose name I've forgotten, shot and killed 2 St Paul Police Officers and a police dog: Ron Ryan, Jr, Tim Jones, and Jones's canine partner Lazer, within hours of each other on 26 Aug 1994. He was convicted and is(was?) serving a life sentence.[/quote
The jones family are good people I am friends with the whole family although they received a good amount of money after tims death it can never replace the father they. Had his daughter chelsi ended up getting ms hockey back in 05 and playing for the u of m and his son Matt is now a police officer following in his dad's footsteps I'm just writing this to give you an idea of the people who were effected by this tradgedy
