You shot Rodentman's 50GI?? Seeing as you have small hands and thus a justified preference for smaller guns, how was it shooting that monster 6" slide with a full sized frame and 300 grains of lead coming out the barrel?? My 5" bbl has been shot by quite a few women during WOT classes, and when that happens I go home with no defense ammo left.

Rodentman's 50 GI was great! It was much softer than I expected.
I'm trying to not think about how much I liked it. I really do not want to buy another 1911.
I do not want to add another caliber to reload for.

Well made heavy guns do a great job at absorbing recoil. We shot a Wilson Combat Govt. 45acp with a bull barrel and it is really soft.
The Alchemy build is a CCO sized 1911 but has a steel frame and that gun isn't bad either.

I'll keep that in mind but my current plan is to not buy any and to not sell any.

Arnzen Arms had a Wilson Combat Bill Wilson Carry model the other day!
The BWC is a fabulous CCO 1911 with many upgrades.
I shoot the BWC better than anything else that I have.

Yeah, I was sure that you wouldn't having any problem shooting it, and the only issues for you are the frame size and lugging 3 full pounds of gun around somewhere on your person. For me an extra three pounds is like throwing another deck chair on the Titanic, and considering a DE50 with Hogue finger groove grips fits perfectly in my hand, it's the little subcompacts that I don't like to shoot.
