Entry is a bit after 9 AM, and the cost is $15 because the cost of relentless bacon (BURP!!!!) went up. You do not have to OC if you don't want to, but George may make a comment about jo' mammy, Obammy, and the sum of fiffy cents!! And no, I am not kidding about this! If you buy coneys, and don't eat the brunch, you just pay for what you order. Kids are half price for the buffet. George makes great Bloody Marys.

Considering the recent violence a block away at the Bulldog,, if you are stepping out for a smoke, make sure your guns are sticking out all over the place. The cops know all about the Gopher and ignore the sight of OC'ed guns.

There's been several attacks in lower town of late, from muggings to a 50 thug wilding.

I'm thinking if the asshats tried this in the Gopher the best they'd come away with is a barstool around their neck, or otherwise in/ around their person.

Sadly, Cheri needs at least 40 people to go to the trouble of doing this and showing some sort of small profit. (And it ain't much, believe me!!) If we don't get very close to 10 more, then this isn't happening. Anybody who ever went to one of these events went away with their eyes rolling in their heads, their belt let out two notches, having been able to talk guns with all kinds of people, and possibly purchase a custom made holster from Srigs. Considering this is the most blatantly gun friendly bar in the Twin Cities since about a year after the carry law was passed, this is a pretty sad state of affairs.

I was thinking along the lines of what Lumpy posted.
If it needs to be 40 diners @ $15 ea that's $600 min.
Maybe bumping the price a few bucks each to ensure the minimum take.
In the overall scheme of things, $2, $3, $5 more won't add much when driving expenses, etc. are considered. And it would likely make it more profitable for the Gopher; fewer guests/ higher ticket price.
Getting the event back on track should make it more possible to fill the next one.
