Parents of Aurora shooting victim drop appeal

If someone decides to go after gun owners rights, they are doing evil. They deserve to suffer the consequences of their actions. The idea that those who would destroy our rights shouldn't be punished, in an attempt to not look like green meanies to those in the middle is foolish. It's actually this kind of thinking that could cost us our cause in the long run. It's the same reason weak, compromising Republicans win nominations, but not elections.

We are in the right. Ours is a just cause, and we will ultimately win because of the merits of what we believe. Despite their claims, leftists respect strength. Just look at how they're willing to fall over themselves to placate the strong. No one respects weakness, and we should show no weakness. You come after our fundamental rights, we should respond by doing everything possible to destroy you.
