2016 Post 435 Service Rifle Clinic

Postby Rip Van Winkle on Fri Apr 22, 2016 8:11 am

Gather round boys and girls, it's time once again to start planning to attend the annual Post 435 Service Rifle Clinic.

This year's clinic is scheduled for June 4th, 2016.

Learn basic rifle marksmanship, the three basic shooting positions and proper use of a M1907 rifle sling, all in a fun, safe and challenging atmosphere.

Cost is $40, for more information and a downloadable program. http://www.post435gunclub.org/downloads/cmp16/CMP_clinic_program_2016.pdf

See you there.

Lots of good info to be learned at this clinic, Mark knows his stuff. Learning this type of shooting will make you a better shooter at anything you try down the road.

Me too, this looks like just what I'm looking for. Is there an online registration at all, or is a check in the mail our only option?

This is a great event, well instructed by Mark and his volunteer cohorts. I've gone twice and both times it's been a good mix of new and experienced shooters so don't be intimidated if you've never tried before. If you spend most of your range time sitting behind a bench or stuck at the 100 yard range and want to try something different this is the event for you. The perfect 'next-step' for someone who's done a weekend Appleseed event and wants to extend the same basic knowledge and skills to competitive "man vs man" competitive shooting.

Oh my goodness! only 2 weeks until the clinic.

There's still room for more but time is quickly running out.

Don't let this year pass you by.
