Lakeville Fleetfarm has probably 50 boxes of this for $20.99, limit 2. They are on an endcap across from the gun counter near the floor.

Has anyone ever tried the CCI 40gr Subsonic?? Academy has the 100 round slides up for $7.99. This is the first time I've seen any available. Just ordered 5 to try them out.

I had some from before the madness. I was very impressed on how well they smacked rabbits in the yard from a pistol. None of the bullets exited on more or less frontal body shots but the rabbits dropped right there. I haven't shot them for accuracy, I just planned on making corrections on pests until I got hits. The first shot I was lucky enough to put the bullet where I wanted and have used the same correction since.

In a rifle I have shot them mostly on paper. With a 50 yard sight in for high velocity rounds, the subsonics hit the same point at a little over 25 yards. The few shots I have taken at something other than paper has been a couple of red squirrels which they dispatched with aplomb.

I have shot the Fiocchi subsonics more often. They have the same point of impact as the CCIs in my guns. Their performance on game has been much the same and I will pick up more if I get the chance. The great part of these rounds is they are pretty quiet. For shooting around the house they can't be beat if the wife is working from home and on a conference call. It seems that a pest that needs shooting always pops up when it is not advantageous to shoot it. With the subsonics that is much less a concern.

I have tried just about every sub 22 in my suppressed CZ Kadet and suppressed 10/22 and the CCIs as expected cycled the actions. Have not zeroed in on which are more accurate.

Yep cycled just fine in both my MkIII and 10/22. Still have a few packs of them too. Pretty quiet round in the rifle, not quiet like the "Quiet-22" but at least it cycles.

Was just at Brooklyn Park and they had quite a few left too but it's on sale now for $19.99. Didn't see a limit sign. They also have the CCI Standard Holiday 50rd boxes for I want to say $3.67.

Bought .22 ammo today at my local small town hardware store with plenty still left on the shelf. Federal Auto-match for $19 per 325 pack. First time this has happened in at least 2-3 years. I think we may finally be done with this mess.

Was at Scheels in Cedar Falls Iowa over the weekend. They were overflowing with 22, a bit pricey but there was plenty.

definitely supply vs. demand. whether it's artificially inflated or not is yet to be seen.

Check out Cheaper Than Dirt Cat # 1701. They must be the ones doing a lot of hoarding. Prices are crappy, but tons of ammo for sale. Absolutely disgusting.
