Well, I'm not terribly jealous of this purchase, and it's not as ugly as you, me, and PROBABLY not as butt-ugly as Tootsie!!!

The problem I had with the original 357 DE was that it was the HEAVIEST .357 ever made, and considering you can get a .357 well under a pound if you're stoopid enough, its BFG 44 and 50 caliber heritage did not stand it in good stead. At 49 ounces, it's still one of the biggest 357's out there, and an ounce heavier than my SAR K2 45 with 15 rounds of 45 ammo in it.
If somebody offered me a choice of the DE 357 or the Coonan, I would take the Coonan in a second! All that stainless steel and 1911 style chucking full power 357 loads downrange with a big fat fireball to go with!
BTW, your Thor single shot is as ugly as me and Tootsie combined!!!
