I'm not trying to be a smarta$$ but to get accurate "spread" you should measure from inside hole to outside or vice versa. This will give you true measurements.

Since it's hard to find the exact center of a hole sometimes, I like to zero my calipers to the bullet size (.308) then measure outside to outside. This will give you a true center to center measurement.

Yes I know. But wasn't look to be that exact at the time. It was the first few times out with the rifles.

500 is sort of an odd distance for F-class, are you a member at NWGC, by chance?

when I got into long range shooting I thought I would shoot competition. But after watching few matches and doing the calculations of cost. To me I would rather spend money on another rifle then shoot comps. Also if I were to shoot comp it would be PRS. But I do enjoy being at range shooting as often as I can. Sometimes it's 5 times a week. Sometimes it's one time for hours.
500 yards was at caribou. I wasn't a member at GRRC at that time.
Gotcha. Northwestern is the only club I know of that maxes at 500 so was just guessing.
