Stock and Barrel

Postby goalie on Sat Jun 09, 2018 7:57 pm

Showed up to shoot today.

Has to wait because someone had a kaboom with a .50 BFR.

It was nice to see the staff there handle everything from EMS to the cops in a professional and efficient manner.

Made me glad I joined.

The wife and I were going to go shoot but had a tree come down in the yard.

Was it a mechanical failure or ??

The loading gate blew off. Hand and facial injuries. No bulged barrel. Lead shavings on the forcing cone. Ruptured case. At least one round fired prior to kaboom.

In the end, it was nice to see how it was all handled by the staff.
