Geissele SSA
RR Match
Hiperfire 3G
CMC

Of those, the RR and the CMC are the ones I don't have yet, but I've decided to go with the CMC. I also have the Ruger Elite 452, a factory mil spec, and a mil spec tuned down to 4 pounds and with a set screw.

What were the factors that decided this for you?

Interesting choice as the first thread I read when looking up CMC was someone who put CMC’s in all their rifles then tried a LaRue and sold all their CMC’s and replaced with MBT’s. For $99 I don’t understand why you wouldn’t try one.

I've heard great things about both of those triggers and while the price of the RR was a lot cheaper, I got a good deal on the CMC right now. My next build will have the RR unless another one comes out that is very popular.

I've tried them before... they're all right. They weren't very high on my list though...
Not my favorite trigger, it's a good trigger though. But you're gonna find that same story with everything, triggers, slings, cars, computers, whatever. Everyone has their own opinion. Someday I might get one to keep.

Personally, My favorite trigger is the Hiperfire, and it stays in my favorite rifle. But I wouldn't want to go out and replace all of my triggers with them. I want to get a bunch of use behind as many triggers as I can so I can have a real world opinion on more than one. I have 4 slings, all different, 3 different LRP scopes, different stocks, different triggers, different carry holsters, different weapon mounted lights, different sights, different magazines, different BUS, different angled fore grips, different handguards, different red dots, etc... I have my favorites, but that's because I tried a bunch.

If I was LEO or military, I'd probably want them all the same for continuity, but my life doesn't depend on my range toys so I like to get more experience with other stuff.

Ever shoot a single stage timney trigger? I have one on my short barrel 308. 4 lb trigger. Just got another but 3 lbs for my 6.5 Grendel short barrel. Nice triggers.

TriggerTech adaptable. If you haven't tried a rolling friction trigger yet, I would suggest it. It has "zero" creep pull. That is my suggestion for a trigger you may not have used yet and I like mine.

Also, trigger pull can be changed from 2.5lbs to 5lbs. Just thought I would throw that in there. I find it is good for both purposes of shtf at or around 5lbs and for more precise shots when lowered to around 2.5lbs.

Steve, I'll 2nd a Trigger Tech Trigger if you have not already made a decision. I personally own 3 Geissele HS Nat. Match, 1 Geissele SSA Enhanced and a Trigger Tech Diamond trigger that I had installed on a PRS style rifle. (Granted the TT Diamond trigger is on a bolt gun, but I am truly blown away by the design and how exact/precise this trigger brakes - EVERY TIME). Ted and I were out P. Dog hunting this spring and I know he would be more than happy to drive over to your place for a little show and tell at your range with our rigs. You could drop your upper of choice on our lowers and see what you think.

I could also drop off that stuff I borrowed from you... 8-)
Speed is Fine, Accuracy is final....but accurate hits at extremely high speed is final much faster.
I don't think you understand, these boys killed my dog!
Taking the gun off safe increases the velocity by 100%
