A person hunting for coyote or fox from January 1 - March 15 may use an artificial
handheld light under all of the following conditions:
• While on foot and not within a public right of way
• Using a shotgun
• Using a calling device
• Not within 200 feet of a vehicle

No night vision and no rifles or pistols.

Night vision laws are just as stupid as proposed gun laws.

97B.086 POSSESSION OF NIGHT VISION OR THERMAL IMAGING EQUIPMENT.
(a) A person may not possess night vision or thermal imaging equipment while taking wild animals or while having in possession, either individually or as one of a group of persons, a firearm, bow, or other implement that could be used to take wild animals.

We should just post a sign on every tree indicating that poaching deer is not allowed.
