This is more of a threat to gun owners than attacks on specific guns or accessories in my opinion.

The way it looks, your existing supply of non-serialized ammo becomes illegal to possess. Either you are SOL if no serialized ammo exists, or some small volume company will start making it for a crazy high cost. Either way, not good.....at all.

....all handgun ammunition ....

Looks like a lot of "rifle caliber" handguns will become popular. What makes a caliber "handgun ammunition?
Because I care, I carry.

If this is in reference to the bumpstock thing. I disagree. The bumpstock ban is very dangerous because something legal is now feloniously illegal without any representative involvement.

One has representatives that can be held accountable. One doesn't.

This sounds like it's based on the California handgun roster and required microstamping that nobody can do.

It's the 2A loophole they are trying to exploit. "Since we can't ban the weapons, we'll ban the Ammo or make it next to impossible to obtain/afford."

Sneaky bastards.

Sort of analogous to the voting situation: They can't convince enough conservatives to vote for dem candidates so they instead flood the country with new folks that they 'buy' with offers of benefits to add to their dem voting rosters. They are good at finding sneaky methods to getting their way...

Not only was the bumpstock ban enacted without due process, it was truly Orwellian by redefining a bolt-on accessory to become a functioning firearm.
