I’ve got a silencerco sparrow.

Ability to balance weight/length vs desired suppression level is the main thing.

I have yet to make the jump into that world but will soon enough. Interested to hear more on this topic.

Do it, it’s a game changer.

A good .22 is a great start.
I started with a rifle, pistol and .22 can for my first jump.
LarryFlew wrote:A while ago but I bought the Sparrow based on reviews at the time and the fact that it was rated for 17HMR. It works on the 17HMR but you still get the breaking the sound barrier crack as they don't make a subsonic. Have a CZ Kadet 22 pistol it is used most one and it makes less noise than a pellet gun. BTW you can use supersonic in a pistol because it stays subsonic in short barrel. Save the spendy subsonic ammor for your rifles. Have 2 10/22 that I can also use it on but do have to use subsonic ammo in rifles.
