Dave Timm would be the guy to take it to for repair.

Are you shooting factory or reloads? If you are shooting factory, I would suggest installing a new recoil spring assembly.

Factory, tho the slide seems to catch on closing.

I am going to reclean it again maybe I missed something, the factory tritium sights are getting dim so I may get them replaced as well.

Is the slide hanging up under full spring power or are is it hanging up when you hand ride the slide? In other words easing the slide forward with your hand.

Easing forward, tho the FtB is firing using white box or something. The Glock is old 15 years or so (now I am feeling old again) but has less than 3,000 rounds fired.

It's normal to feel the hangup when riding the slide. You need to replace the recoil spring for the problem when firing. You can get recoil springs from the Glock web site store for $5.00. Brownell, and MudwayUSA have them for like $7.50.

Ok Thank You! :)

I think I will order one just in case, I should probably replace the magazine springs too.

LF recommendation for Glock Armorer near Wadena or Baxter

Interesting. Seems like an easy fix. I have a G17 but has no where near that round count but I’ll watch for this issue.

On the subject of G17s, what does everyone think of that CAA MCK micro conversion kit? Novelty, fun toy, or both?
