Welp, they’re at it again. (August 2019)

Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz, Minnesota Democratic Congressman Dean Phillips are all in favor of more gun control.

I doubt we thanked the gun rights advocates and Republican Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka enough for their work last legislative session. Our legislators who support gun rights sure seem to be taking a beating in the media.

Oh, and WCCO had a “Reality Check: Do ‘Red Flag’ Gun Laws Work?”
They kind of side stepped the issue but said that some states that have implemented the Red Flag Gun Confiscation laws have seen a drop in suicides. So I guess we should be in favor of them according to WCCO.

Again, I do NOT think we thank those working for gun rights enough for what they do and the abuse they take.

The Senate really held the line last session by refusing to move any gun control (or pro-gun bills either) forward. I think they'll continue to hold the line but they need to hear from us.

After the session .
I wrote Paul's office and thanked him .
I also wrote my state senator and state rep . Both support the 2nd and thanked them .
I also wrote the members on the conference committee . Who stood firm and thanked them .
I also pointed out that. I would support them next election cycle .

Remind them again - given current politics in MN and recent events.
